John and Noel Bartz
started Home Diagnostic Services, Inc. in March of 1995. HDSI
is a local multi inspector firm with 6-day availability, offering
no-wait on site computer generated and oral reports. In most cases
we are able to schedule your home inspection appointment within 24
to 48 hours. Homeowner maintenance education is part of our service.
John Bartz
has personally completed roughly 4500 home inspections. He has been
a member of the National Association of Home inspectors since 1995
and was the founding President of the Illinois Chapter of the
National Association of Home Inspectors he also served two terms as
the Chapter Treasurer John is one of the two principal owners of A
Home Inspector University, Inc. which was voted the best home
inspection continuing education school in the state of Illinois.
HDSI's home inspections meet or exceed both The National
Association of Home Inspectors and The American
Society of Home Inspectors Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

Our home inspection will
give you an unbiased, accurate evaluation of your choice of
residence or investment. We do not estimate repair cost and
we do not perform repairs so as to avoid any conflict of
interest. Just because a home has minor flaws doesn't
detract from its potential as a residence or investment
capabilities. Most, if not all flaws, found in a typical
home inspection are minor and easily fixed by yourself or
with the help of a local professional in the field.
We examine the current
condition of the home with the understanding that we can't
predict the future performance of the various systems of the
residence. We're an independent, non-franchise firm so we
don't have a franchise fee to pay, allowing us take
additional time on our inspections and provide the very best
customer service possible. We encourage customer
participation so the inspector can pass along any additional
information during the inspection process.
